We can help you understand the notice and guide you on the next steps to take. It's important to respond promptly to any IRS communication to avoid potential penalties or interest.
Am I eligible for an advance of up to $6,000?
Eligibility for a tax refund advance depends on several factors:
Do you usually receive a return from the government?
Do you have any open liens, back taxes, owed child support, or IRS judgments?
Have you filed your taxes successfully and on time for the last 2-3 years?
If you meet these criteria, you may be eligible for an advance of up to $6,000.
How does the tax refund advance of up to $6,000 work?
If you pass the eligibility requirements, you can apply for the advance during the filing process. You will be evaluated based on your past filing history and the current return amount. The amount you are approved for can be up to $6,000 of your refund, but the maximum amount is not always guaranteed. If you take the advance, there is a one-time fee of $250 to process it, but there is no interest rate attached.
Example: If you are expecting an $8,000 refund and are approved for a $5,100 advance, after taking out the $250 fee, you would receive $4,850 on the day it's filed. The remaining $2,900 will be deposited when the actual tax return is released.
